Young Voices is a fun group of students ages 5-12 that meet together weekly to sing a variety of songs from pop to classic. Students are introduced to the basics of healthy singing, vocal improvisation, reading music, and music theory in a co-ed and encouraging setting! There are also many performance opportunities for solo and small group ensembles.
Teacher Donna Anderson’s love for and experience in choral directing has extended for over 25 years. In her experience, Donna believes there is a special bond that is created among young people who make music together. In addition, singing in a chorus helps improve mental discipline and confidence, enhances social interaction, develops teamwork and cultivates a sense of accomplishment for each child. Think of this lovely group like the icing on the cake to your child’s musical experience!
Young Voices meets weekly for ages 5-12. The first group session is complimentary and free of charge! For students interested in participating in one day per week the fee is $60 per month, and participation in both classes is $120 per month.
